VFW Post Membership Eligability....

 

 

 

 

Elgibility:

 

Every Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars must have at a few things-in-common; they must be a Citizen of the United States. They must have Served or are serving Honorably on active duty in the Armed Forces Of The United States on Foreign Soils, Water or Air space above during conflicts or insurrections in which a Campaign medal or badge was authorized. Eligibility is also extended to any who have served in or waters of, Korea, or has received Hostile Fire/Hazardous Duty pay. If you have ever served on active duty, check with us to see if you qualify. Although you may not be eligibile to become a member, we welcome and appreciate all volunteers from the community, who can contribute to our cause, which will always be to aid the Troops and Veterans of our Country, their Widows and Families.

 

 


 

Benefits of Joining

 

There are several benefits to becoming a member of our organization. Along with certain savings on products, insurance and Political advantages, the greatest benefit is: Our members are close friends because we share a common bond, all of us have been there, done that etc and we have a great time when we get together. Of course we also have a common interest, in giving support to our Military Veterans and Active Duty Men & Women, who fight for our Freedom or lay down their lives for the American way of life.

 

 

 

How Can You Join?

 

To join, we need a completed application, proof of eligibility and membership dues for the first year. Please contact us for more information and the application. Proof of eligibility can be a DD-214, discharge, or other means
showing you to be overseas. If you don't know if you have the proper documentation, bring it to us for evaluation.

 

 

 

 

ELIGIBILITY FOR LADIES AUXILIARY MEMBERSHIP

 

Membership in the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars shall be limited to Wives, widows, mothers, foster and stepmothers (who have performed the duties of parent), grandmothers, daughters, granddaughters, foster and stepdaughters (who attained that status prior to the age of sixteen and for whom the duties of parent were performed), sisters, half sisters, foster and stepsisters (who attained that status prior to the age of sixteen) of persons who were or are eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. Authorization is shown on the veteran's separation document.

Women eligible for membership in the VFW are also eligible for membership in the Ladies Auxiliary.  Members must be citizens of the United States and at least 16 years of age.

 

 

 

 

ELIGIBILITY FOR MEN’S AUXILIARY MEMBERSHIP

 

Membership in the Men's Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars shall be limited to husbands, widowers, fathers, grandfathers, sons, grandsons, brothers and half-brothers (who attain the status prior to age sixteen (16) of persons who were or are eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States).

Men eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States shall not be eligible for membership in the Men's Auxiliary.
